Can someone please shed some light on why we use Blogger, yet some of you also have Facebook accounts?
I have just set up a Facebook account, but am not sure why. I did it mainly because Grandma told me Madalyn is on Facebook, and I thought it might be a good way to keep contact with what she is up to.

Thats exactly why we all use Facebook - to keep in contact with people that we otherwise wouldn't be able to. This works especially well when you have friends who frequently have 'status updates' on Facebook, but it means that you end up spending far more time on Facebook reading it than you wanted to.
ReplyDeleteA few tips for facebook: Never put your address, your workplace, your phone number, or any other information that could be used by the sinister characters that lurk around facebook on your 'page'. Only accept 'friend invitations' from people you actually know, and be aware that once they are your 'friend' they will be able to see all of your updates and anything that you write on any of your other 'friends' 'walls'
You can also put something on your facebook 'page' to direct people to come and look at your blog.
